General ANY CINQ OWNERS WITH AN AIRBAG?

Begining to think I'm in the minority here, I've a P plate but it has an airbag wheel and Sei stalks, weird but good

Anyone else?

I read somewhere that even tho some cinqs (maybe early seis too) had "airbag wheels" they didn't have airbags, if that makes sense! Can anyone clear this up?? I'm interested as I'm considering getting an early sei sporting.

Well, needed a heater hose and found an Imola Cinq in local scrappy and lo and behold, front end damage and big condom substitute coming out of the sterring wheel so they must be real.

cinqs had optional airbag, which was the later sei wheel/stalk with airbag

and the R reg cinqs had the sei wheel (even if they didnt have airbag) and stalks

my old one had sei stalks and wheel (no airbag) but this one has old cinq ones looked into retrofitting but not worth the trouble (lots of it )

My car (recently purchase ) is an R Reg and it has the air bag sterring wheel as well.

I hope there is an airbag in there, I have read some where that if you changed the steering wheel on a cinq with th airbag then a dash on the light is on all the time. this would suggest to me that there is an airbag in there?

peakster - i dont think yours has an air bag there is no air bag signs on the front off it, mine has got AIRBAG and SRS printed into it.

do u have an airbag warning light that comes on, on start-up

if its not an airbag you'll be able to pull the cover off easily (the bit between the 2 horn bits)

annoyed the hell out of me the weird (not in centre) horn too

gaz - when i start up there seems in sign of an Airbag light. I get the code light, oil light, battery light and the ECU thingy to do with the code on the key.

But no airbag light[V][V][V][V]
