Technical anti pollution fault again

ok this is realy doing my head in ,to the point im thinking of getting ridd of the car........

does anyone have a definitive answer to this problem or most likley fix ....

Just had my Ulysse 2.2JTD in for MOT and have had a problem with losing coolant. Garage rang to say a pipe which runs from the front of the car to the re-circulating valve - rubber pipe to metal pipe to double metal pipe to rubber pipe - the metal pipes had corroded and were leaking. Apparantly Fiat no longer supply the replacement metal pipes so garage replaced with rubber piping - This has caused anti-pollution nlight to come back on after 13 months. See my Thread at bottom of Ulysse section regarding problems we had December 2008!!! Not sure if that helps.

i just had the same problem 2 days before going france from london, my dad said he saw the same problem in another car , my is a fiat ullyse, but i try and i works , we removed the ingine filter and turned on, keep it running for 5 min, then remove the main fuse from the internal box, the main one, the halt car got reset , i had to re program the radio, but the best thing was that the silly mesaje POLLUTION FAULT stop from coming back and i hope it will not come back again, i went to paris and came back fine , not problem.

ive had this message loads of times on mine, finally fixed it today by giving the air filter a good clean ....

worked great, message dissaperead and warning light is off
