Another one bites the dust.....

I just traded in a P reg Bravo at Arnold Clark in Edinburgh. Less than 55k on the clock, good runner but the body work was a bit bashed up. Taking her in today to leave her and pick up my new Bravo. Feeling awful rather than excited. Love that car.....

Hoping a nice enthusiast like you will pick her up at auction (didn't trade her in under the scrappage deal because AC gave me a better price on a 3 week old pre reg and because Fiat had no 1.4 Dynamics in the UK at all last week!)

Fabulous cars. Hope you find a new one soon.

Right, it's been decided.

The Marea is dead and buried.

So, my mate has said that rather than pay him for the parts and labour he's used to try and revive it, he'll take the car as payment and keep the car at his garage with a view to either making it a practice car for his young lads or maybe even revive it himself at his own leisure to use as a courtesy car.

Either that or I give him £100 for his costs and I take it and break it myself, which is something I'm neither proficient in nor have the tools and space to do.

My other option is to offer the complete vehicle up to one of you guys. Maybe someone here fancies taking it away and breaking it themselves. You could make a tidy little sum, I guess.

If you want to make me an offer in excess of £100, I'd consider it, but make it sensible and do it via email. The car is a total non runner, the engine has been dismantled significantly and would need to be put on a trailer to move. Everything else on the car works fine, including the air con, all electrics and the interior is all of reasonable standard.

I also have a set of Mk.1 HGT alloys (as seen in the signature below) if anyone wants to make a sensible offer.

Cheers guys.
