Another new project

Oh dear - whilst out looking for car parts, and indeed anything rare to sell at Alford tomorrow at the Autojumble, I picked up what I reckon is a massive bargain today.

Didn't get the front seats from the 147, but I got the whole rear seat set up, in full leather (like new!) for just £20!!

After some ideas exchanged with Ransoman and lewisp the seats future is decided - new sofa

I'll get pics of the rear seats themselves another night, by the time they got unloaded at FS HQ it was too dark and there just wasn't time!

We all mocked but I have to say I appreciated those seats today.

Ha - to be fair, they've gathered quite a bit of dust sat in storage. Nothing a bit of leather treatment won't fix!

They're also now stored in FiaSco as opposed to sitting in the pile of parts in the far corner of the shed. Unfortunately it is now getting damp in there and not ideal for long term storage of items that could spoil

Will do I'm just using the metal base off an old broken recliner and going to mount the seat of choice onto it, if not a recaro it'll be one of those super comfy saab or volvo ones

You guys really should do the reverse as well and put an arm chair in faisco.

make it fit the bed of the pickup (Y) so you can have a comfy seat at shows
