Ally still got his 106??

He's got the bare shell and a few parts. He had to get a more practical family car...Renault Laguna diesel. Nice enough, plus about a heck of a lot safer in a crash. Think he's got his heart set on a 205 GTi or perhaps a Porsche 944 when funds allow

Tell him if he gets a 205 GTI, I wanna shot, providing it's te 1.9 though.

The 106 a project car then??

Think he's tempted to turn it into a track car. He's got a mate who's done a fair few GTi engine conversions, so could get it done on the cheap. He's sold a lot of the parts off it though like the Xsara front brake conversion he had, so he may just break up a lot of the rest and scrap what's left.

the 205 gti is the ONLY peugeot i'd have.

Apparently the 309 was/is better to drive, though yeah I've always rather liked the 205.

Something like this would fine for me... http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2110691.htm It's probably the route I'd go if I were to go down the 106 route. French wise though, I'd probably get a Clio 182
