General Annoying Speedo Problem...

Hi, anyone here come across this problem; my SeiSporting speedo only starts working at the 40mph mark, any slower than this and its back to zero...
All the fuses have been tested.

Hmm what year is your seicento ? This would help to know if it is cable or eletronic speedo.

Likely to be a cable operated speedo. Chances are that either the cable is not connected properly or is worn out and needs replacement.

If you have the grey rectangular airbox it'll be cable, if the big black one with the circle it'll be electronic.

i remebver when i change my cable, the connector to the gearbox end wasnt connected tightly, then i was getting reading till about 20 mph ish, may be check that ??

...Just checked the box. Seems to be rectangular and black. No circle.

Possibly not a cable one, you are at the cutoff in terms of the changeover so you might have an electrical driven one, but would go with the concensus in that the cable has probably had it and needs replacing.

As said check for the two different style of boxes/connectors to see which version you have.
