Annoying problem with my seat!

I know this may sound like a dumb question but here goes..

I have a W Reg Bravo, with height-adjustable front seats. Because i'm over 6', I like to have the seat pretty much as low as it goes.

Problem is, everyime i get out of the car, the seat reverts to the highest position! Does anyone know how I can make it stay in the correct position which I've selected!? It's driving me crazy, it even moves back when i get out to get petrol, or other short stops..

I'm 6"4'.
I couldn't drive the damned thing with the seat not at the highest it'll go.
How the hell do you sit with it at the lowest?

Guess some people have longer legs and some people have longer backs. I'm 6'3 and I need my seat as low as it will go or my head is touching the roof lining.

Can't help you though really. Apart from it may be a broken mechanism. Mine stays at the position I set it ok.

Cheers, just have to live with it i guess.

I do prefer to drive it with the seat quite high, but as someone has already mentioned this would mean my head touches the roof which leads to my hair getting messed up. Maybe i should shave my head!

Had same prob in my brava, but luckily my mum drove with it up, so didnt bother her! But ever time i went in the hand went down to the side. Like a mini handbreak! hehe
