Annoying ebay newbies

We went to see a litter of rabbits once and all that was left was the runt, he was a dwarf. The vet told us he would only live about two years, So we bought a hutch and he lived outside in the garden for eight years, just goes to show outside is good for them. After all if they weren't domesticated where would they be.

about 5 foot underground in burrows huddled together to keep warm.

ground level is a good 3-4 degrees colder before you even consider wind chill, so it can easily become life threatening for a lone rabbit (or indeed any rodent) in a hutch or cage outside. the best way to keep them outside is to have a windproof enclosure on the hutch that has a small entry point, and to keep the hutch off the ground and out of windy areas. also provide plenty of bedding material.

Dobby report them to ebay and they'll likely get banned, IMO what they did is bang out of order, if they wanted it then they have to pay the price i.e more than you bid so get Ebay told, it's likely not the first time they've done it.
