Hello everyone,

I recently bought a unit from AliExpress that is sure to work on my Fiat Punto 1.2 69 easy from 2016 as someone in the reviews had the exact same car as me and everything worked.

My original unit is a Daiichi Multimedia unit with a smaller screen and no support for CarPlay. So, I decided to change to this one.

When I took out the old unit and fitted the new unit the new unit quickly showed a screen and then turned off again. Furthermore, sometimes when I turn on the ignition I can see the android boot logo coming up and the menu actually appear but the unit’s display is VERY dim and you can barely see it’s on.

Do you think it’s a wiring issue? Because obviously the daiichi had a different wiring than the default radio system without a screen So that’s maybe why the reviewer could just plug & play?

I’ve included some photos of both units and the ISO adaptor. Also, does anyone know what the small black and yellow cables are because they are not being connected to anything on this Adaptor so maybe only the daiichi needed them...

Thanks in advance guys! This is the 2nd unit I’m trying and at least this one powers on but it needs some tweaking I guess?
