Right my car was fine today going to work, after leaving work I drove about 1/2 a mile, during which time I only had to stop at one set of lights and all was fine.....
.... at the next set of lights I came to the brake pedal went straight to the ground with very little resistance, I had to stop using the handbrake!!!!
I then drove a bit before stopping, at this time it was pitch black and I could not see anything untoward but the car still did not stop correctly. When I got back in the car I turned off the engine to see if a restart would make a difference. When I did so the Airbag light came on but went off again when I restarted...
I drove a bit more and then noticed that the hand brake light was flickering on and off but it was fully off.
I managed to get the 25 miles home safely but the brakes were well dodgy the whole way.
I still haven't been able to see under the car cause it's 5am and it's dark out there, I am taking the car to garage in the morning/afternoon (when ever I wake-up) but has any one had similar probs or is it just something simple????
There was a bit of trouble with youths near my work but I wasn't anywhere near at the time but when I cam back to the car there was some unrelated debris round the pavement..... I'm just hoping one of the little S**ts hasn't tampered with my car!!!
