Well I know which cars I prefer, otherwise I'd have bought an Alfa 147. Although if the Alfa GT 3.2 ?? was a selespeed I would have had one of them.

My local Quikfit had recieved dozens of fleet stilos with tracking issues...

Oh dear that is bad news. Alfas reputation for reliability is probably worse than Fiat though!!!! Early cambelt failure is a common problem on the 2.0TS engine, as you've now found out Alfa actually recommends it is changed every 36k miles, I'm sure the chap over at the Alfaowners forum would have told you so. Aren't Alfa now swapping back to camchains in the 159 because of these problems? I guess You're pretty "lucky" it went so soon and covered by warranty so that is good news. Nice looking car all the same.
