AMP wiring

This will sound a really stupid question but i have finally got the power cable through into my car and all the wiring is sorted as far as it can be at this stage do i have to connect the power cable first then attach it to the amp or attach it to the amp then connect it too the battery, iv got the inline fuse sorted and all the earth cables etc but i just cant remember whaich way round i have got to connect them Thanx for your help!!

take out the inline fuse... connect the lead to the battery and the amp.. then fit the fuse. make sure you earth the amp too before.

Ok so il take the fuse out should i wire it through then and do i connect it to the battery then the amp or the amp then the battery?

with the fuse out, it doesnt matter. i did battery first, then fed the cable to the amp

it doesnt matter tho
