Re: Re: Amp Setup

yeah the power light comes on, and also my subs working, just dont seem to get any sound from the speakers..

Re: Re: Re: Amp Setup

How many RCA cables have you got going onto your inputs? How many speakers have u set up from the amp?

Re: Re: Re: Re: Amp Setup

ive only currently got my sub runnin from the amp, just wanted to do the back speakers, only got the one RCA cable.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Amp Setup

do you need to have racs to all the channels you want to use at the mo i have a 4 channel brigded down to 2channels with 1set of rcas ive got another 4channel for the install going in this weekend im usiing all 4 channels do i need to have rcas to all the channels. Danny

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Amp Setup

There's your prob then!

Your RCA cables are in your 'sub in' on the amp. To power more speakers from the amp you need an input for a signal. If you only have 1 RCA out on your head unit you can get a splitter to use more inputs. There are 3 lots of inlputs on the GTO6000 - sub, front and rear.

They need inputs for a signal to the speakers

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Amp Setup

Yes.

You can buy splitters though if you do not have enough outputs on your head unit

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Amp Setup

i have the amp at the mo running from the sub out and i still have 2 rcas outs so i need to run these 2 to the new amp cheers wimmy mate.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Amp Setup

so i need to buy a splitter and another RCA cable, just to run the back speakers, how about if i brought another set of speakers for the parcel shelf, what would i have to do then.,

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Amp Setup

Anonymous, now your confusing me, lol

Basically u need an input in your amp for every output.

If you plan to run subs, rear and front speakers you need 3 sets of RCA's going into your amp.

The inputs correspond to the outputs

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Amp Setup

You MUST feed a signal to both of the channels which you have bridged. You need to buy some splitters.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Amp Setup

on the amp i have brigded i have 1 set of rcas going to channel 1and4 or 2and3 something like that do i need another set of rcas for this amp aswell

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Amp Setup

Danny, did you read the instructions?

You should have

1 RCA split into Front L&R and the speaker connected to Front L- and Front R+.

1 RCA split into Rear L&R and the speaker connected to Rear L- and Rear R+.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Amp Setup
