Ok had my sound system in a week or so and everything has been working fine!! untill!!!

Today, with the music up the front speakers, just cut out!! i bring the power down and they are fine! turn them up and they cut out again!

The amps is alot hotter then normal, but all contections are the same???? the power light goes off, does this mean i need to get more power there? but it has been working fine all week!

Any ideas?

Oh dear, if it's the amp that you were talking about in a previous post, it may be the signs of things going wrong. I'd stop running it immediatly before you fry the amp and perhaps speakers.
Especially if the amps are getting hotter/warmer much quickly then they should.

Oh, and when the amps cut out, it's usually to do with a number of safety devices the amp has, to prevent real damage occurring.

Depending on the manufacturer and type of amp, it can cut out due to overloading, getting too hot (thermal protection) and a probably a couple of others points that i can't remember at the mo.
Sounds like whatever speakers you're running may be asking too much of the amp (when you turn up the vol) and the amp just can't cope. Or the fact that the amp is just getting too hot.
Either way, it isn't good.

Its all sorted now, sorry i didnt get on sooner!

It wasnt the 4ch, that is running really well! It was my 2ch fusion amp, but i traced it back to the speakers! I dont know what happened but the crossovers must have cooked or something, i have now replaced the crossovers with some fusion ones i had and now the sound fine and amp is back to normal running temperature!

Thanks again for everyones help!

P.S. Smee i will take those fans off you!
