A little help here people, in my Bravo the setup i currently have is a JVC headunit, 13cm pioneers in the dash in place of the old tweeters, vibe 6x9s in the shelf and 2 vccs pioneer subs running from a 1200watt renegade amp.this setup will be changing when the build goes in i will ad some infinty comps up front remove the 6x9s and add some coaxals in the standard rear holes just for rear fill. up until a few months ago it sounded great but then i just had problem after problem.
the problem is basicly the amp gains are set about 3/4 way and i also have a bass controller u from front which are set about 3/4 previosly i have been able to turn the gains all the way up and the controller and it sound great. but now i cant even turn just the controller up without it cutting out, when it cuts outs the protect led on the amp cuts in. any ideas what this could be cheers for any help.[V]

i know this may sound daft....but have you checked the gain on your amp recently??? it may have turned up a bit itself

yes ive checked them but even so i have been able to have them up on full before and it sound great. but not any longer. ive been told by a mate it could be wiring but the wiring seems fine any suggestions of possible faults in the wiring at all.cheers Danny:)

i used to have the same problem with my rockford amp, is it intermittent? like will be on every now and then then just suddenly turn off? if so try this little test if you can drive fast while having them both turned up and if it only cut's out after you take your foot off the gas then you need a new battery and a bigger aulternator
