one(probably black)will go to the ground(earth)other(probably red)will go to live. where you put the live is up to you. you can put it on a constant live on a switch or on an ignition live.
a cleverer wat to do it is to put it on a constant live through a relay that is switched via the amps remote wire so its only on when the amp is on

cheers, now as im not very good with the old wire situation, how do u wire it up with a relay??

thanks for your help, a diagram would be really helpful. Take it, it needs to be a 12v relay

so the remote lead could be your amp signal or ignition live depending on your preference and set up.
the ground is straight to the body work and 12v can come of the battery.
the 'connect to electronic component' goes to your fan's '+' feed.
then you just add a ground connection to the fan(s)

hope that helps.

dont forget to put a fuse in the supply!!!
