Ambient temperature sensor tipo

Hello,
I have the same problem. Do any of you have any picture that show the location of the sensor? I’m struggling to find it.
David
Hopefully these help you

Perfect! Thanks for that. I’ll definitely have to take the plastic casings off! Where did you source the replacement ? I’ve only found this on eBay…

i got them off ebay too but no real luck, i bought 3 different ones from different sellers and neither of them worked properly and just gave me a temperature way off!

Reviving this as I too have similar issues. My temperature gauge in the car is suddenly reading ‘- -‘ which is annoying. Did anyone find a working sensor?

March 10 2022, I took delivery of a 2014 North American Fiat 500 Abarth that I won at a Copart auction in Miami. It was an insurance write off and while I only saw the pictures, it had right front fender and bumper damage and also would not start. I took a gamble because at that time a 2014 Abarth was going for $19,000 and I got it for exactly one-fifth. When I got it every electrical connector was disconnected and the fuses were randomly inserted if at all. A long story (5 pages of error codes) made short: the dash temperature was showing 153°F. The ECU didn't know what to do with that, I replaced the ENTIRE passenger side mirror assembly with one, which reads correctly, from a salvage yard for $30.00, installed it and the Abarth started. The car was written off by a Fiat dealer for a $30.00 part. I named her Esther, my miracle car. I have since done quite a few mods on Esther.
