Hello all.
I was driving my blue bravo t-jet 150 sport yesterday for about 1 hour and half and everything seemed ok...at a junction i stalled (never happened before) and didn't even think it was a problem.
After arriving at destination i park the car and it stay there for about 4 hours.
When we start the car again nothing was wrong, so i start driving downhill (i was in a car park) and suddenly i hear a bip from the dash and the amber engine light came on with this warning "insufficent pressure, check engine" so i stopped the car instantly since i was still in my parking area.
Turn car off.
Then i tried to turn car on again but it was like when the battery is gone....weird.
Tried 5 times and nothing...
So i pick up the instruction booklet to see if i could dig up the problem.
Manual says you can still drive the car but performance etc etc can be different, so i try to start the car again.
This time it pick up, but the amber light is still on with the warning "check engine".
Is it a problem with the injectors or something?
It happened out of the blue, but now that i think about it i always thought the fuel consumption was a weird (full tank of petrol ALWAYS give me 360 mpg regarding of driving using the turbo like a madman or driving like my nan...regardless of urban or motorway...360 on the dot always).
I will try to go to a fiat dealer near me and see if i can repair the car under insurance (with the car i bought an extended 2 years breakdown insurance from fiat).
Do you have an idea what it could be?
My old 1998 bravo after 5 years of life had the same problem and it turned out that 1 injector was dead, and other 2 were working just at 67%.....massive repair bill...
