Hi my car seems to give of a lot of vapour out the exhaust, is this normal. It gives off masses of it until it is fully warmed up. Happens when it is below 9 Deg C and especially when conditions are damp or rainy. Even when it is warmed up i can see it coming out the exhaust in traffic (Not much though to be honest)

It seems fine on fuel, it is white not blue, performance is fine and it doesn't do it on a warm sunny day. Am i worrying about nothing or could i have a problem somewhere.

Thanks for any responces

white smoke is fine, when it's cold take a look around, most other cars do it when they start.

Buring petrol (or any hydrocarbon fuel) produces carbon dioxide and water. The white vapour is just steam.

The catalyst also produces more water as it breaks down the unburnt fuel.

Nothing to worry about at all.
