General Am I just the very unlucky one?? :(

Hi all, had my gp jtdm about 2 months, heres a list of faults that have occured:

Power steering went
o/s door catch broke
Gearbox started whining
Top mount on my o/s/f shock is gone
o/s/r caliper is gone, handbrake bit is broken so it only holds on one side!

I mean all this in 2 months? realy!? lol

anybody else suffer/suffered these problems? please make me feel better

2007. Previously I had a 2002 fiesta, no problems at all, nothing like this :/

well i havent had any problems and mine is 06. Maybe unlucky, but everybody falls on cars that are on the verge of fault sometimes. Yes im probably not making you feel better, but feel better in the knowledge that you will certainly not be only one who has fallen on a bad purchase (often unknown to the buyer until even after a test drive)

Sounds like you got one of the unlucky ones, seems you either get a decent one or one where everything fails. Just unfortunate i guess.

Gearboxes are toffee anyways.

Woah, so unlucky man , I've had mine over 2 years only problems been tyre punctures ! hahaha

I havnt even picked up my car from the dealership yet and the power steering has gone which luckily has been fixed any paid for by them.. hopefully picking it up today after owning the car since late december

I think the phase is you got a friday car m8, I had my mjet for 2 years now and other than some minor suspension issues and the syromesh on second being slightly weak all good. My only disapointment is the fuel economy but hay you can't have everything.
