You get snap in black mesh things?
Think I have seen them on a punto before and it looked not bad.

need more info m8 sorry im new to the whole car scene....iv seen people replacing the side windows with metal plates welded in....more of a van look....good or bad? Pros an cons?

instead of welding in the plates, could just get them cut exactly the same shape as the windows and get them bonded in the same way ;)

These...

...I've got them on the Stilo, great things being removable. Like tints, they keep out a good amount of sun related heat but I've also found they're good for stopping tailgating fools from dazzling you with their headlights. Only paid £20 for mine second hand as well :)

Had a quick look for Seicento ones but couldn't find any. I'm sure there's a place online you could source them from, thinking you'd be paying over £50 for a set but still a good deal cheaper than tints.

muppet those things look pretty awesome! Not so keen on how it covers the rear window in two seperate parts on the punto version though... might think about getting them though.

Darkwave, if you upload a photo fo your car I can photoshop what it would look like with the rear windows replaced with metal panels or similar for you?

Aye, it's in 2 parts for the Stilo as well. There's meant to be a clip(s) for the middle to hold them together but mine were missing - probably why they were so cheap though they were in perfect condition besides. The clips though push them into the corners of the window frame a bit better, something which not having them creates issues with - if you're getting them second hand, make sure you get the clips.

They're a genuine Fiat accessory as far as I know as well. Retails for something like £60 or more if memory serves.

As I said though, there's a few places that do them online I've seen. Just can't remember the urls offhand. Good cheap mod either way though (y)

tryed looking for my sei but cant find them miby typing the wrong thing.....ill upload a pic of my car on fri/sat when im at my maws....using my phone again :(

you can get them with hello kitty on them :D but the most popular name for them is privacy shades

i dont know what sort of price or permament type of seeing through your glass is but other options i can think off is

1- vinyl up the windows the same color or black with the car
pros- are gives a little more security and cheap and easy to apply with loads o color options

cons-got no visibility and unless its good stuff you get a lovely glue goop on the windows :D

2- you may not have heard of or seen it before as its used for skining model planes for flight i dont know how good it would stick to glass think its called trans something or other cant remember the name havent used it in a while although i have a few rolls here ill see if its got the name on it

pros- are its completely transparent and avaialble in a huge selection of colors and cost around a fiver a roll compared to tint film which is around 20-30 a roll :) it has to be ironed on so makes it a bit easier to put on things that are flat :)

cons are its not very protective as its designed to be as light as possible for model plane flight and i dunno if it will adhere to glass also it has to be ironed on which means extention cables out the house :)

found out the name :) its a polyster film heat wrap there are a few companies that do it but the biggest is profilm :)

oki ill have look into that....the privacy shades i cant find for my model of car.....window tints i refuse to have....miss kitty is to classy (rolls eyes)....so its the stuff you have mentioned or the old bit metal replacement on the sides and dark tints on the back window
