General alternator

Help please what am I doing wrong trying to get the alternator out of my Marea weekender. Anyone know how to do this.
All suggestion greatly excepted.

Job done what a nightmare, as soon as i get the air con going it kills the alternator, which here in spain cost me 250 euros for a new one. Better than Fiat tho they wanted 420.

Hi Manderley.

I had the same problem last year on my 1.6 16V Marea.
It was the voltage regulator that was defective.
I got a used alternator in bad shape (In Denmark there isn't many used Marea Estiva alternators) from the scrappy (15 EUR) and swaped the regulators.
It's the first car i own that needs engine mountings loosend for gaining access to the alternator...
