Does 2007 Ducato 2.3 alternator need voltage to connector B (D+) to start produce voltage? Or should it work fine with that pin disconnected?
The reason why I ask is because alternator died while car was in electrics repair shop - there was a problem in wiring to cooler contactor and they did some work with the wiring. I feel suprised that alternator would have accidentally died at the same time, so I was wondering if there could be some simple wiring problem that prevent alternator from working...
