General Alpine Flip Out TV

Hello to all. This is my first time on this forum.

Im currently the owner of a Fiat Bravo 155HGT and next week im going to chop it in on a Fiat Coupe 16v that I have seen at a local garage. The thing I have noticed is that the aperture for the stereo is at an angle so I dont think that my Alpine CVA-1004RR head unit will fit but the screen wont flip out properly.

Has anyone managed to make a flip out screen fit in the dash or modify it so these type of units fit?

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

I've seen one on a forum somewhere where they've managed to mount the screen headunit above the centre console where the heater blowers are. I don't know how easy it will be to do, but if you like a challenge, Go for it

Thanks for the reply, I think thats what I'll do. I will have to keep my eyes open for a spare centre console to mod. I am just really attached to the Alpine unit I have got and dont really want to get rid of it.
