Very nice HU. Some people find the GlideTouch a PITA though.

I have anAlpine HU never given me a seconds problem :) so good choice (y)
Why don't you pop down to the welsh car show and have a look around the local stand have a car entry ticket if you want :yum:, will still have to pay to get in the show ground though, but your car would be on the forum stand and you could stay there all day and work deals with other people;)

hey i really need an iso wire for this head unit, i bought a 16 pin one for lpine but doesnt fit any ideas where i can get one from?
 
I have this head unit and think its (y) easy to work and glide touch aint as bad as everyone makes it out to be, mainly use mine for the ipod connectivity which is top (y)

I know of no Alpine that has 5V. The 9855, 9812, 9861Ri all have 4V.

The voltage doesn't really matter - it's definately not a deciding feature when shopping for a HU ;)
