I have just sampled motoring perfection. the 156 gta is amazing and the engine note makes your hair stand on end. such a goooood motorcar

After drooling over my car mags and 5th gear the other night I MUST have a 156 GTA. My favourite car of the moment. Looks great, sounds great, goes great.

I wouldn't go for it just yet.

I twisted the chasis on my '98 2.5 V6 156 and I am not entirely convinced of the torsional strength.

About 2 years ago Alfa were going to release the GTA in 2 door form on a shorter floor pan but it never happened.

I am not entirely sure of the body kit, but it is in the driving and I refuse to do so as I know how weak I am with cars, especially Alfa's (I had 5 at one point!)

Anyway I have decided to buy and restore a classic British beast so my money is spent..... or is it?

A year and a bit to go of uni and then I just have to land myself a well paid job and who knows...... well, I can dream can't I!
