Is there a way to shut down the alarm, if for example the battery of the key goes blank?

I had to jack the left hand side up, and undo the plastic inner arch guard, and pull the plug on the alarm to get mine to shut off.

On the manual, there said to be a switch in the fuse box, where you can insert the key and turn the alarm off. but i dont have in the HGT. i have only the place for it.

yer inside some models there is just the space for it

hmmmmmmm i don't know if there is another way to switch it off.
