Hi all. The key wont deactivate the alarm on my wifes multipla and as we have a baby due in the next 7 days money is a bit tight. Is there a way to take the alarm off without spending £245.06 at fiat? :bang:
Thanks

Does the alarm go off and you can't turn it off? I'm sorry if I've misunderstood... I've had lots of issues with the alarm on my previous Multi, mainly the volumetric sensor, which is easy to simply unplug.

There is a way to disable the alarm with a key sequence but I don't remember it and I didn't get it to work when I needed it, so maybe someone else can advise you on that...?

Hi i have a really similar issue as it turns out the guy i brought it from had bust the key and removed the fuse and siren, now when i put the fuse in the lights flash continuously so am going to to unplug the alarm as i have read that completely bypass's it. the only problem is the two plugs wont budge so am going to see if any one on here can help will post if i get a answer.

Why not leave the fuse out

Fair enough.

Need to isolate the control modual (assuming its a dealer fit part).

Yeah found the modual it has two plugs which im thinking i should remove but they are in there pretty tight and don't want to force it just in case it stops the car starting.

Meta is the dealer fit alarm manufacture Fiat use for dealer fitted alarms.

Ah got ya cheers. cant see a make on the modual but it looks dealer fitted and not modded. the plugs seem straight forward enough but cant see any catches and the are pretty tight

on the subject pf alarms and please forgive my slight digression but when i arm my ugbug it beeps then beeps again. is this right as im sure it only used to beep once?.

A mate has said locking and holding the lock button deactivates the alarm on Multi's, not sure if this is worth a try?
