hi got mk 2 1.6hlx when i press key fob nothing happens light on key flshes but nothing on car when i drive the red light by rear demist keeps flashing any ideas guys and is it poss to disconnect the alarm all together any ideas guys

Sounds like it needs resetting. Should be a procedure in the manual.
