Technical Alarm keeps going off

Anyone have any ideas why my alarm keeps going off. Basically I blip the key fob to lock the car and a second later the alarm sounds.
So I can only lock it the old fashioned way at the moment.

Alternatively does anyone know how to disconnect the damn thing completely?!

most likely a dodgy sensor/door pin
make sure the courtesy light goes out
bonnet pins can be suceptable to moisture

Good point on the bonnet pin. We've had the bonnet up lots whilst doing the clutch in damp weather. I'll grab the WD40 and see if that helps.

the blinking LED on the dash will tell you which sensor has tripped the alarm.
owners manual details how to read the LED (code)

Yeah but it's easier to blip a keyfob to lock it when your arms are loaded with babies and paraphanalia!

open bonnet then turn key to mar then off go to the bonnet push butten for the bonnet 7 times in 7 secs then hold down for 12 secs that will turn alarm off for good just dont push the button on key that will turn alarm on
