On the whole I have heard good things about the Ai606 but the price does put me off. Essentially all I want is a mild deterrant, not something that will send me a text saying car being nicked when I'm busy.
Whatever the alarm, it doesn't stop anyone from getting what they want. I'll ask at my local motor factors (they installed my alarm in the Bravo) so I'll see what they can do.

Bravo etc have never been driven away yet without the ignition key and this cannot be bettered by fitting extra devices to the car. If you want an alarm just to scare someone off then the cheapest you can find on the market is enough.

i have that toad alarm.had it for over 2 years. very good alarm. no false alarms,lots of featu
res. And speaking to some of my criminal minded friends, the toad is actually better than some of the other big name alarms. u can definately get it fitted for cheaper than £300 though, look in yellow pages for independent fitters. thats wat i did

flippin hell people. you love laying into paul! give him a break, he was only trying to help me out.
i wouldnt mind an expensive alarm but cant afford it, they are all pretty cheap to buy but fitting costs a bomb.
either a £30 that goes off that i can fit.
or a -£100 thats bit more fancy but fitted for the same price also.
