If you are after a wee bit of extra noise & that's your thing, but you certainly will not gain any power.

What are you trying to achieve?
Fiat designed the filter to pass more air than the engine will ever need, so it will never be strangled. Unless its about 5 years old and clogged, but simple replacement fixes those.
The intake system, including the airbox, and any plenum chambers are carefully designed to allow the right airflow, and to reduce the noise that much air causes.
Aftermarket air filters will often promise better airflow, but the engine will still only ask for what it needs. Having extra capacity gains nothing. Except perhaps noise, which may sound great for a while, but may become wearing on the ears.

Have a look a tthe airbox on more powerful versions of the car. If it's the same, you can be pretty confident that it will flow far more air than your engine could ever want!

No you will increase the intake air temperature.

Look into better aftermarket filters if you want better sound.

Increased air temperature as judiciously pointed by Cmos, means less air density (hence less oxygen by cubic meter) ; this will be detected by the Mass Air Flow (often refered as MAF in this forum) and the MAP (Manifold Absolute/Air Pressure).
As a result the ECU (Electronic Control Unit) will decrease the injected fuel quantity in order for the engine to stay in the stochïometric (Air/Fuel Ratio or AFR) close area, which at the end results in less power, that might be "compensated" by the feeling of better acceleration due to the noise...

Empty out everything you don't need. I seem to remember someone on here a while ago removed their back seats, although that will probably increase noise levels. Consider leaving the spare wheel at home, if you can take the risk. If a family member can bring it to you should you get a puncture, might be worth a try. Or keep the spare wheel, lose the toolkit, and replace with AA membership!

Ensure tyres are at correct pressure.
Turn off the aircon.

Indeed, the cheapest way on gaining more performance....ditch unnecessary weight, after that if you're serious about more oomph it can get a bit expensive if you start fiddling with the technical & oily bits. Then of course telling the insurance. You could go down the chipped/mapped route but then again cost/insurance. I could go on, but you get the idea..
