Technical Airbag OBD Connector

am i right in thinking that a VAGCOM connector will connect straight up to the airbag ECU? or will i need to mod the pins on it??

if i need to mod, can someone supply a wiring diagram (i've already got a vagcom lead)

If you have bought a simple odb vag cable you wont be able to sort any abs or airbag faults...no you cannot modify any pins (why would you wanna do that? Leave eletric stuff alone!!!)
However you can buy right adaptors for your vag cable (usually have different colour codes) from ebay for £30 for the full set
I dont know if you can find it cheaper i just had a quick look as im looking for some too

Yes you can modifiy a VAG cable to enable it to connect to the Airbag ECU by adding a small Micro switch.

Sorry yes the vag cable can be "adapted" with a modify...
I thought you meant that you wanted to modify pins on stilo end...
