Hi i would use the search function but im at work :D

this morning the message came up airbag failure cars going to explod stop now.

Does anyone know how much it costs for a replacement for the connectors under the seat?

It would be best to read the fault memory and establish the cause before just replacing connectors tbh. There are many connectors and componants involved in a airbag sytem and it would be best to start with getting the fault code read 1st.

lol, i bet it didnt say that exactly ;)

most of the airbag issues in the stilo seem to be problems with the passenger OCS (occupancy) sensor in the seat, have a search, you will get alot more information that way.

Should of been more specific, i have had this before, my mum drove the car yesterday, and she moved the seat higher up, and forward, and the explosion message came up, so i no its the connectors under the seat, anmd also i found a water bottle lodged up the drivers seat which i assume has knocked it also.

I did the whole cleaning it with elctrical cleaner just like in the guide and still its on :bang:

Though saying that the orange connector was wrapped in really right black fabric tape when i got to it.

I think I read some where the new part harness inc connectors was around the £20/30 mark they are only fitted by a DET and to my way of thinking its the correct way to go if you want a permanent repair..:)

I guess I've got some other connection blocks, as I've got no orange connectors under the front seats. Still there are airbags in them.

You are looking for these under the seats Morty me old mucka..;)

Yes I know my old friend. But I still haven't got them. I can imagine them though, as they are everywhere, except under the front seats.

Don’t know if this will still be monitored but would someone be able to tell me if orange and grey connector under the driver seat is disconnected does that mean that the airbag will not function? Fiat 500 just came back from garage having had a seatbelt replaced and the orange and grey connectors hadn’t been plugged back in. Thanks.
