can you tell me if it is harder getting into gear due to a faulty air flow meter

I doubt very much that a faulty air flow meter would cause you trouble changing gear, poor acceleration and rough running yes.

Tell us more information, symptoms, correct service schedule? etc.

Air Flow Meter sorted out sluggishness that i was experiencing however a seperate fault i am getting just now is that every now and again i find it hard to get into gear this comes and goes and usually when its playing up it clears after 5-10 mins .....pressure on the clutch pedal is fine.

any ideas as to what may be the cause.
