Any ideas anyone ? Driving home yesterday coming out of a roundabout car lost power very suddenly. I thought it was electric fuel pump or fuel filter but have checked both (changed filter) and checked air filter. Car starts, runs ok, no smoke or spluttering. It will not accelerate though, goes very very slow up to 3000 revs then the turbo kicks in and it seems to go a bit better but no power really. I disconnected the Airflow sensor and it seems better albeit is rough if you know what I mean ! Do you think its the sensor (bloody expensive) is there any way to double check, no warning lights on in car. Can the sensor be cleaned out ? Going to have a look tomorrow but any advice appreciated. Where is best buy for a sensor e bay says over £150 bangers :cry:Cheers.

After some further investigation it was the EGR valve, what a nightmare to get access too.............from fiat cost £77 so not so bad..........

My Panda MJ is going through a similar thing at the moment, despite having the MAS Sensor replaced, albeit a couple of years ago. However, the car is booked in for a service on the 11th so we'll see if it just needs a good fettling.
