General Air condition problems in 1999 19TDS

Dose anyone know what is wrong with the airconditioning in my 1999 19TDS.
It wont work, it,snot the fuse but if you take the fuse for theradiator cooling fan out it will work. Would anyone have a wireing diagram or even an idea of where the relays are?
Any help would be appreciated.

I love to drive it , loads of space, great on long journies and holidays , I'd just wish it would stop breaking .

History of my car so far
New gearbox @ 6 months old
New steering rack @ 1 year old
Both sliding door windows are off the runners
AC not working
New crankshaft required at 45000 miles, not supplied by fiat
Mad ticking behind the dash
Taco takes the head stagers and bounces up and down the dial.
Back light assemblies have been replaced twice as they keep coming apart and shorting.
I hate to moan, but you know I feel a lot better for shareing this, maybe there should be a therapy room for Ulysse's owners.

Hi,

I am no expert on air con, but all I know is that it doesn't work below a certain temperature. Perhaps the sensor for this is on the same ciruit as the radiator cooling fan and by removing the fuse you are bypassing the lock out. As it hasn't been that cold, maybe the sensor has a fault.

Worth a try.

I had the gas checked when I first noticed the problem, it must be electrical.

had same prob 1999 vreg 2L petrol. manual says run aircon frequently during WINTER to keep efficient or sumfin like that, anyway did same,day b4 it went to dealer,all ok, pick up from dealer 1730hrs ish 2mins home ok then a few days later warm weather put aircon on(no climate control on this model) blowing warm air out for 30 mins.Rang dealer he said he not been in that side of things no not him, bring it in & we will have a free look & see if any parts have gone down due to its age!Yeah like i like to write out blank cheque.had gas checked by other aircon company it ok.i tried same as above.no joy.soory i not reply early as pc like fiat!DONT ASK.any body know anything. also would like manual\cd if poss.
