Has anyone had air conditioning fitted to a early ulysse, I am wondering how to go about it, can you buy a kit and do it yourself or would it be a garrage job, also any ideas on price, where to go etc in Yorkshire ( W/Yorks )

Hi,
you can get it retro fitted BUT it will be very expensive, you are probably looking in the £600 to £700 bracket, mind you depends on how long you are thinking of keeping the car but personally i wouldn't bother

Not worth it, the cost would be prohibitive, put the money towards a newer Ulysse with A/C, plenty of them out there.(y)

The cost for Air con is more than what I paid for my ulysse ( R reg ), and considering I bought her origionaly for spares for the 51 plate I think i best not let my heart rule my head on this, I didnt realise how much it would be ( £600+ ).
I do want to get about another 3-4 years from her, but not with too much being spent on her, if it were about £200 that would have been fine but it realy isnt worth the expense over that.
Time to start saving for a 2003 version or newer.
thanks for the replys
apresiated as always
Kindest regards
Simon
