I have an air bag failure warning which I was told was down the the front passenger seat sensor being faulty. I have removed the sensor but still show air bag failure. It concerns me that the fault may lie elsewhere. Any ideas?

Hi and Welcome to The Fiat Forum.
What sensor did you remove? Did you put anything in its place to mimmick it or the ECU will be looking for something not there anymore. Theres loads on Airbags in here, usually poor connectors under the seats on 3 door models.

Try a Search in the Stilo section using Airbag as the Search query.

How did they know? What did they test or was it just a guess?

Simply removing it won't cure anything if that's where the fault lies or did you mean replaced it?

AIRBAG FAILURE warning means there's a problem in the airbag circuit, as vague as that. A diagnostic would pinpoint exactly where the problem lies
