Technical Ah ****** - Clutch gone!

Well my fcuking clutch cable just snapped on way home from work [!][!] managed to get home using clutchless gear changes.
Just had a look to see what it was for definate but can't see coz its dark [V]
I know Jonna and Pete have had cables gon on their cinqs but anyone had one go on their Sei???
If so any idea of how to change it??
All i can see is a black metal sheild covering where i want to get to typical bloody FIAT never easy!

Found it, its the hook thats snapped off.

this is becoming a bit of a problem isnt it. you'd think fiat would design a better hook. Mine better not go. I hate things braking grrrr

Buyer wise i think babys more in love with it now after seeing it an Stanford Hall
I sorted the clutch cable £13.21 from Fiat and they had one in stock! OMG i thought i walked into the wrong place for a moment
I burnt myself on the manifold tho got a huge blister and i had a flame pop outta my indcution kit!!!
I started the car from cold (running very rich on choke) revved it a couple of times (trying to find out what a tapping noise was, nothing serious it was where the clutch needed a slight adjustment) whilst under the bonnet and BANG a huge flame come through my air filter, scared the s**t ouuta me!!
Shame i don't have flames from my exhausts tho!

Actually i'd jus like to point out that i've never had my clutch cable go (touch wood)

the hook on the clutch cable went on mine about a 2 weeks ago.
The guy who tried to fix it said that there is another way of attaching the hook to the pedal but if that goes it would be an expensive job to fix. I didn't really understand what he was on about so I just nodded my head and agreed.

Any ideas what he could have meant???

Wanted Seicento Arbarth Wheels or any 14"+ to fit a seicento

MY CLUTCH CABLE HAS GONE ON MY CINQUECENTO sporting
i was driving along the road and i couldnt get it into 2nd at all !!! so i tried 3rd same thing then suddenly a large BANG !!!found out by investigation under the dash board 'passenger side' follow link rod theres a box unscrew box and theres a linkrod pivot !! the dam clutch cable which connects to the linkrod pivot had cracked and broke !! mega upset[!][V]!!
anyone know where i can pick up this part tried halfords so far no luck ill be trying dealer in the morning(FIAT)

yup i have a cinq sporting an its clutch is on its way out i will get it fixed soon but its all about the money crisis!! lol. wouldent be surprised if my gearbox is f**ked to
