Hi guys, I got an offer today for px my 59 Grande punto abarth with a 2011 Punto Evo Supersport for 5k! How that sounds to you? Just to mention that the Evo has just 17000 miles and is fully loaded which means ( sabelt seats + sunroof) ! Is it a good deal or not?

but as far i know, there arent any differences between the newer supersport and the older tuned SS...Anyway i will think about it.....at the end, i will keep my old style Abarth! :)

The supersport is basically an evo esseesse, just rather than buying the base abarth and adding the esseesse kit for extra they've put it all in one package. That sounds like the right decision, your car is lovely anyway and the extra bit of power isn't really worth the 5k! (y)

yeah...i know was really good deal for 7k in such immaculate condition...the only thing that i am missing on my car is the 18 inches wheels and sabelt seats!

No, the SuperSport is an Evo Abarth with 180CV, including exhaust line and exhaust muffler.
This mean no 18'' Abarth alloy, no drilled discs, no koni shocks and springs.

The SuperSport only has the power, the essesse has all :)

Supersport has 180bhp, Koni FSD dampers and only 199 built. (y) Its an esseesse slightly upgraded, basically

Not agree :)

From "simpler" to most tuned :

Abarth Evo : 165CV
Abarth Supersport : Evo + 180CV + uprated exhaust pipe & muffler
Abarth EsseEsse : SuperSport + Koni damper/springs + drilled front&rear discs + 18'' alloy wheels

This is quite complicated with Abarth :/
Abarth Grande Punto even required a turbo change to boost from 155 HP to 180 HP ! Since Evo, this is only the ECU software that change.
Since SuperSport the power is here, but the rest of the kit is still needed.

See page 31:

Strange... and quite old.

But see my PDF, Koni are an option. They would not be if they was as standard.

Only Scorpione had all without needing esseesse kit.

Yes your PDF is for ordering new. You cannot order a 163bhp version anymore. They are Supersports and you spec it up. But the orginal Supersport was a limited edition which came with black wheels, different stripes, all esse esse parts and with Koni dampers which were not available any other Abarth Evo. Confusing but that's how it is a min. Fiat don't even do the Evo anymore. Not since last year

Ha I understand now :)

This is the Abarth UK site that is not clear / faulty.

The black with all parts is the Scorpione, limited to 199 cars, exactly.

And yes Scorpione = EsseEsse (but in black, you can't choose color)

However, cars to sale now (2013 up) called SuperSport are not EsseEsse.
They have what I writed above. You can check this on internet/your dealer, they don't have drilled disc.
At least this is the case in my country, hope Abarth have the same names all over europe...

Here they are the esse esse. In fact there isnt an esse esse now. Just Supersport in which koni's as optional extra along with the esse esse wheels.

Scorpione is just a option pack here.
