I understand that... but is it better to use it for the safety of the engine aswell...because of the ignition advance after a remap etc...when I raced karts we could run more advance and higher compression on higher octane fuels or AV GAS.

What I have found tends to happen on remapped cars is normal everyday driving is very little difference, but when driving a bit harder pinking can occur with standard fuel on hills etc due to the remap setup needing the higher octane. I've always used Vpower in mine and no probs found.
