Still not sure how it works

Do you add another car that is already insured, or is it for insuring 2 cars or more? I'm thinking Tipo and Marea... Currently Marea is insured and the Tipo as a temp car now and then. Be better to have both available all the time.

Basically you insure both your cars with them on the same policy, and they give you a discount on the cost of two sparate policies. Ive found with admiral that they are happy to let you add a temporary car whenever necessary anyway, usually for about £25 a month 3rd party. cant go wrong..

Sounds quite cool... I assume that if you have multiple drivers on the multicar policy that everybody will be allowed to drive everything. I would be interested to hear from anybody who has actually tried this out... what are the prices etc... and if it's significantly different to buying a single vehicle policy.

To revive this old thread - I've been on multicar for a year and am due to renew in December 07 - it was the cheapest by quite a bit for me and the missus to get our cars covered.

I ended up with something similar to this with Diamond (part of Admiral), wasn't the cheapest but was far from the most expensive (about £1200 cheaper than the next nearest quote). Adrian Flux were cheaper again and let me use NCB for both cars (y)
