well...its with a VERY heavy heart to say i'm getting rid of my qubo...had numerous mechanical and electrical issues with the car it's under a year old and since been in the garage numerous times for various stuff to be replaced (the way the dealer's been its almost a new one again with all the replaced knackered parts) i'm a mobility customer and thankfully they've said enough is enough so they've cancelled the contract sadly......I did have the option to continue but with my health issues and a 3yr old it's not left me with a great deal of confidence however i'll still keep bobbing in & out and answer anything I can so you aint getting shut of me that easy!!!

Sorry to hear that pal........I know that you've had problems, I had hoped they were all sorted and the car was coming good (though it should have been good from the off).

I'll miss your posts...........out of interest what motor are you replacing the Qubo with ??

God knows what i'll turn into if I stop the pills!! the car did settle for a while then seemed to do all sorts exhaust problem doors AGAIN various electrical issues you name it

still sad to see it go eventually but getting nearly every couple of weeks the RAC were towing me back and it stopped being a laugh after that...hmm what to replace with?? not a great budget and wanted something with sliding doors (I know!!) so ordered a ford b-max hopefully here in the next couple of weeks (just in time for my 43rd birthday!!!!)

i'll still be around as I said...made a few friends here I wont leave...besides I want to see how in the next couple of years how the qubo designs go forward..who knows in a few years I will probably look again just not now.
 
good luck phil I to am getting rid of my qubo, to many horror stories, I have bought a Honda jazz pick it up 1st july, good luck to you.

More and more Qubo's on the road round by me, all colours.....

Sorry to hear the news RD but hopefully you'll love the Honda

Qube O it's the exact opposite here me & the next door neighbour were the only ones in south liverpool for a while...start seeing the odd one or two now BUT the thing you see most of late is the Nemo seems to be hundreds of em around here all different colours...mad!

Was up in your part of the world a couple of weeks ago, staying in Media City, Manchester. We came over to Liverpool for the day to visit Albert Dock & so on...........not surprised you had all kinds of problems with your motor........I thought the roads down here in the midlands were bad, but more like a snooker table than Liverpools............'boy O boy' are they bad!!!!!!!...........like a obstacle course trying to avoid just the worst.

What with that, and the crazy parking charges......£11 for 5 hours, even with a Blue Badge............guess who will be steering well clear of Liverpool in the future.

Hope the new cars going well.....

you should have said...i'd have let you park outside our place for free (we're not far away from the docks) hmm parking charges are a joke for sure before the multi story appeared they had the monopoly and charged what they liked!

Hmm i've seen smoother roads in afganistan!

well...thought it was time for an update...replaced qubo as before with a ford b-max had from june last year till someone kindly hit me at speed writing the car off totally....and leaving me trapped in the car for nearly 2hrs while fire etc managed to extract me from the wreck.....net door neighbour still has his qubo loves it to bits (especially after I gave him bits from mine wind deflectors etc) sadly through motability I did look at another qubo this time a petrol version but sadly due to injuries seemed to struggle to get in & out easily without discomfort

Right...off to have a read around (god you lot can talk!..although so pleased to see the little qubo corner getting bigger every day)

sounded nasty.. ( I know they don't RUSH) but far from what you needed :(

The 500L seems pretty popular on Motability, why not give that a try? Not sure if you need an auto but if you do, they do the Dualogic with the 1.3 85bhp diesel, which seems to be the most common engine I've seen in the 500L & turns a reasonable pace given its size.

You'll find it a lot more car-like than the Qubo, but still with bags of space.
