hello to all you boys lovers of fire engines.

looking place I have seen several different designs dui links regulator pressure fuel injector to add.

my question is:


the fuel pressure regulator is used to activate the second injector?

ce or a control unit that controls opening of the injector?

you need a control unit for the opening of the injector, something like an MF2 or megasquirt

and another fuel pressure regulator for the second injector.

ok so the original regulator Poerio serve regular gasoline inietore of the original, the other is used to adjust the pressure of the second injector pressure when things are going right?​

Since seeing the picture at the beginning of the post seemed to me that eliminating the regulator of the SPI and is regulated by the regulator of the second injector .. but the second injector can I obliged him with a dedicated unit oppre I can do with pressure?​

I think your getting how they work wrong, the regulator controls pressure upstream of itself, not after. So looking at your standard throttle body, the fuel goes into the housing, across the injector and then through the regulator.

Therefore, the standard regulator controls pressure to the standard injector and the new regulator (should be rising rate regulator) controls pressure to the new 2nd injector. They can thus be set a different pressures
