Technical Adding Carplay to 63plate 500L

Hello!
I've just bought a fiat 500L with a 63 plate and want to upgrade the media screen to have carplay/android auto.
What is the best way to do this- if I need a new unit.... which one do I need to buy?
Any experience or help would be more than appreciated!!

the 500L doesn't get masses of coverage on here

I know that there has been a fair degree of other owners adding 10 year newer tech to the Panda, etc
