Today i got chased down by a lorry driver who was super pissed at me coz i filtered out onto the motorway too close to his lorry.
The guy flashed his lights at me all the way between the two junctions and followed me up the slip road i was getting off at.
then he stopped at lights got out his cab> hammered on my window and shouted loads of abuse at me with words lbeginning with F, B, C> you name it, it was there. :(
Some people are so angry, why don't they chill out!> what was i meant to do? drive into the side of his lorry? or the roadworks cones??
Anyways when the lights changed i gave him the finger and did a cinq special emergancy start> he ran to his cab still shouting and that was the last i saw of him! ****!
:D

emergency start... I like the sound of that...

Some people are ******s.... but if you're filtering on to a road, you have to give way... but surely in the cinq, you could have driven under the lorry fast and furious styleeee

i got called a ****** by a corsa driver today, he ran off though when i turned it round and followed him

this was for no apparant reason though, i was driving in the opposite direction to him

I can't believe he was that evil, amazing to think some people are like that :(. Although saying that I would have done something similar to the white van man who pulled out in front of me this morning at a very dangerous crossroads people should know to be careful at. However I have been in a similar situation to you where you can end up being boxed in and you have to hope the driver of one of the other vehicles is on the ball when you have no choice but to pull out in front of them :(.

but you didn't.

You should've reversed into him as he got out his wagon

Or, while he's stood there beside your door hurling abuse... wait till the light go orange, swing the door hard into his fat belly, and drive off :D

No Alex, you're right I didn't but I was swearing and seething and had he ended up in the same car park as me when I got to work I would have said something for sure . I have done Paulies's trick of yelling 'Is it FOGGY?' to people in the car park before

See this confuses me...I completely agree the lorry driver shouldn't have done that.

However, if it was the other way around we would all be saying "I am glad you stuck up for yourself when that twit pulled infront of you"

well he wasn't fat> just an angry beardo man. *shakes fist*
Well fisrt he was letting me in (i was indicating too) then he came right up so he was nearly touching the back of me car, so i sped up slightly and dropped into the gap> it was just cinq sized :D
I wouldn't have done it but i was right at the bottom of the slip road so i had nowhere to go :(

Ar well i'm here to tell the tale.
I had thought about some Italian Job stylee driving to lose him, but the lanes were packed and movin too slow.

On the brightside today> a Fiat garage i went to were lovin my cinq (y)

I think the lorry guy did take it a bit far - alex didnt have much choice appart from filtering in front of him.

poor Alex :(

your supposed to let people filter in on a motor way dual carage way thats why there is a little sign telling you that there is trafic going to be comming out on the left, thats why we have slip roads so you can get your speed up an slip in to the traffic that should have seen the sign seen you and adjusted thier speed so you can filter in.
some thing pisses me of is people who drive down the slip road very slow looking in wing mirror never over thier sholder, then stopping at the end, ffs why they do that

Of course if any one ever on the end of something like that from a lorry driver, & you were definitely 100% correct in your actions, turn off in front him, then try to rejoin behind so you can see the sticker that says "is this lorry being driven well tel..........." phone it up give the registration of the said vehicle and get them in to trouble at work, I know my mate did this and got some groveling written apology from the driver and the company.

Aaron.

Some guy in a lorry kept messing about a while ago and wouldn't let me change lane, he just accelerated to block me getting into a gap and then slowing down so I couldn't get in behind. I hadn't done anything to upset him, he just thought it was amusing and laughing with his mate.

I phoned the number on the side of the lorry and spoke to the Director of the company and asked if it was policy to employ idiots to drive around and annoy other drivers. I also asked if he thought it was the best advertising given his company was all over the lorry for everybody to see.

He was not very pleased and said he would discuss it with the driver when he returned. I then wound the window down and told the driver I had spoken to his boss and wished him good luck for when he got back to the office.
