Technical abs light on for m.o.t

Hi all iv not long bought a fiat punto sporting i took it for the m.o.t and they said that the abs light was on and that someone had put a sticker over it so the bloke put his diagnostics on the car for me and for some reason he wasn't getting any reading from any of the tyres so he said to check the fuse got the car back fuses were fine found that the abs pump had gone so put a new one on and hey presto it worked the light came on as you turn the key and goes out as it should thought fab took the car out and once again the abs light is back on and wont go of
any help with this would be fab

If it does'nt come on until you start moving then it may be a split reluctor ring on one of the wheels, a plug in will show which one.
