Technical ABS Light and C0034 DTC

Hey all, new member asking here for advices

So the problem is this, my wifes Grande punto got ABS light come on and i readed the DTC and it was: C0034 Right front wheel speed sensor. Okay, i ordered the Speed sensor, installed it and still light is on. Off course i deleted the DTC after that.

The problem is that when i try to clear the DTC, the light will come on again about 2-3 seconds after starting the engine. My thoughts is that it starts to sound a wiring or bad connection problem ? Because if its the speed sensor, i think it would require certain speed before it puts the light on, right ?

Any Advices here ? Thanks all!

Correct.

If the light goes on right away after deleting the error the it's probably a circuit problem.
eLearn, get the ABS unit pin-out, Multimeter check if that sensor has continuity.

There are two different kinds of sensors : axial and radial one; are you sure you got the right one ? Also the sonic wheel might be the culprit ...
