Technical ABS and engine flashing

Hi,
When I indicate to the right my engine light and ABS light flash on in sync with the indicator. Can anyone help me with what the exact problem could be please? Thanks

hello, thank you for the reply.
It only started earlier on today, it is the only change that I have noticed. I have a 2014 colour theory Fiat 500 if that is any help?

I seem to recall its common in your age..a friends 63 plate does similar

Swapping the 'speedo' cluster for another used one can fix it

My friend hasnt bothered

Odd warning light..anybody had this? | FIAT 500 (2007+)

When indicating right.. (Not physically turning..just with indicator stalk in an UP direction.) The MIL illuminates. So.. Hatch wiring .. Dash board fault.... (The last MOT had 'dashfault' listed as an advisory note) Friend of a friends 1.2 500 @2013 Good runner just had this fault...

Would you happen to know whether a new cluster would need coding to the car and also if it's a refurb or second hand unit how do we reset the milage to your car?

Classic cluster failure mode. Best way forward may be getting your existing unit refurbed by mail order by the likes of Essex Recons, Revtronic etc. Removal is reasonably easy, it would be plug and play and you keep your true mileage. Downside is car would be off the road for say a week...

Yeah, I've had several with this, one a couple of weeks ago. Its expensive to get it repaired, it's cheaper to get a replacement speedo from ebahy with lower mileage than your car and then get someone who has mutiecuscan to adjust the mileage back to what it should be and do a proxy alignment. A lot of advertisers on ebay don't say or know what the mileage is, but if it's not listed, message them as they do sometimnes but don't mention it in their listing.
